From 7 to 10 April I am participating in the European Craft Days 2026 by opening the doors of my pottery workshop in Finisterre (A Coruña).
During these days, anyone interested will be able to get up close and personal with the craftsmanship and discover how handmade ceramic pieces are created. This is an opportunity to enter the workshop, observe the creative process and understand the value of manual work in contemporary craftsmanship.
I work mainly with hand modelling techniques and raku firing, a ceramic technique in which fire, smoke and chance are part of the final result. Each piece is unique and reflects a slow and careful process.
The visits are designed for small groups to offer a close and authentic experience. In addition to observing, participants will be able to experiment with clay and experience ceramics first hand, understanding the creative process from the inside.
Finisterre is a special place in Galicia, known as the end of the Camino de Santiago. Many people come here looking for a different experience, more connected with nature and the present time. This open workshop proposes just that: a space to stop, observe and reconnect with the essential through ceramics.
