Raku Walking Fish - Land and Water Creature

Handmade raku ceramic sculpture, unique and unrepeatable piece.

This walking fish seems to have developed legs to travel new territories, becoming a hybrid creature between a marine animal and a terrestrial being.

Hand modelled in white SiO-2 chamotte clay and glazed with transparent glaze and bright colours. The raku finish provides crackles that are impossible to repeat.

A contemporary fantasy piece, which connects with the dreamlike, the playful and the primitive, perfect as a decorative sculpture with a strong personality.
