Raku vase with stripes - exclusive and unique handmade piece

Made in white Sio-2 chamotte clay and modelled by hand.

The lower part is glazed with green corbe, while the upper part is glazed with a transparent glaze, leaving the natural white colour of the clay visible in the stripes.
During the reduction of the raku, the smoke penetrated the incisions creating black lines that contrast with the white of the clay, giving rise to an organic and unrepeatable pattern.

Also enamelled on the inside with transparent, this vase evokes plant and marine forms, combining the power of fire with the delicacy of the earth.
Perfect both as a decorative piece and as an accompaniment to dried flowers.

👉 Note for use: Due to the nature of the raku process and its characteristic crackle, prolonged use with water is not recommended. Ideal for dried flowers
